ORGANIC SMALLHOLDING IN SOUTH DEVON
We are a mainly horticultural 10 acre smallholding certified organic by the Soil Association.
We are certified Organic for a variety of horticultural produce and eggs.
Soil Association certified since 2002 ,we grow vegetables, soft fruit ,apples and usually have a flock of hens laying wonderful eggs, white and brown. We are also a certificated camping site, home of the Family Camping and Cycling Club, providing a near to wild camping experience. Open to anyone who likes that sort of thing.

The Family Cycling and Camping Club provides certificated campsites for tents . We love the freedom of cycle touring and camping , and here at East Moore Orchard the site is pretty close to wild camping with basic facilities.
Our Projects
Hens roosting in the apple orchard. New woodland planting. Camping . Green manures used to build soil fertility. Sunflowers for the birds in winter.
Meet The Team
The team consists of three main workers who grow the fruit , vegetables and salads. We have regular part time helpers for picking and delivery days. Also when necessary we can call on friends and family to help, such as this occasion for planting a Woodland Trust grant for 1500 trees.

Directions from Totnes .Devon. Take the Avonwick road for about 2 miles, there is a turning for Hazard on the left (sometimes the sign is missing!) About half a mile on right is a sharp right downhill turn. Another 1/4 mile, first turn on right next to fishing lake entrance.
